World War I Selective Service Records


Join Linda Woodward Geiger, CG, CGL, in a free webinar entitled World War I Selective Service Records. Linda is the Vice President and webmaster of the Friends of the National Archives, Southeast Region. Linda and J. Mark Lowe, CG, FUGA, are directors/instructors of the Regional In-depth Genealogical Studies Alliance, presenting week-long seminars at the National Archives at Fort Worth and the National Archives at Atlanta. In addition, Linda is a frequent lecturer at national genealogical conferences, and all day seminars.

Join this webinar to learn tips about local draft boards (including exemption boards) and the records created including WW I draft registration cards and classes; exemptions and appeals; delinquents and deserters; and mobilization records.
