Webinar Description: For many family historians it is important to learn whether, when and how their immigrant ancestors became American citizens. The laws covering becoming a citizen changed over time as did the records created during the process. In this session, we will look at these changes and where to find records created during this process -- as well as related records that show whether a person was a citizen, or that were created if they were not such as the Alien Registration of 1918.

    Cost: Free!

    Please note:

Registering does not guarantee entrance to the webinar, in which space may be limited. Arrive early.

A recording of this webinar will be posted on the MnGS website, for members only.
