British courting and marriage customs varied by region and time-period. Courtship, bethrothal, age and customs of marriage, as well as changing views of sexuality were impacted by changing social attitudes, economics   and demographics.
This class will look at the history and different aspects of courtship and marriage and how an understanding of such can help those doing family history.
